HEALTH TAKES CENTER STAGE

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

Thank you for your ongoing support of Broadway Grand Rapids.  Due to revised CDC guidance and Kent County risk levels of COVID-19, new protocols are in place for attending Broadway Grand Rapids events. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of negative test is no longer required for Broadway performances effective March 21, 2022.  Masks are strongly recommended and welcomed but not required. Please note that these protocols are subject to change based on evolving guidelines from health and safety experts and government authorities. Please check your Know Before You Go email prior to each performance and continue to check this page for the most up-to-date information. We appreciate your patience and support.

WHAT TO EXPECT

All Broadway Grand Rapids performances will be sold to 100% capacity. You will be seated with patrons directly in front of, next to, and behind you.

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or negative
COVID-19 test is not currently required

Optional face coverings

  • Face masks are strongly recommended and welcomed.

Contactless Ticketing​

  • All tickets will be delivered digitally as mobile tickets accessible on your smartphone. Tickets can be added to your phone’s mobile wallet via Ticketmaster or your Broadway Account Manager for quick and easy entrance to DeVos Performance. More information will be provided. 
  • Ticket scanning stations at DeVos Performance Hall have been upgraded to limit contact between patrons and staff.

Bag Policy

  • DeVos Performance Hall has adopted a new bag policy. Only small clutches will be permitted, no larger than 12" x 9" x 3". Larger bags, backpacks, or purses will NOT be allowed into the venue, unless they are required for medical, health, or parenting needs.

Hand Sanitizing Stations

  • Hand sanitizer stations are placed throughout the building, including ingress routes, event areas and outside restrooms.
  • Touchless fixtures and anti-bacterial soap will be provided in all restrooms.

Enhanced Disinfection

  • Extensive cleaning and increased frequency of disinfecting procedures for all high-touch areas in the theatre. A full list of cleaning protocols can be found on the DeVos Performance Hall website.
  • Large open areas are treated with an aerosolized EPA-registered healthcare-grade disinfectant.

Increased Air Filtration

  • HVAC air filtration system upgrades at DeVos Performance Hall include installation of bipolar ionization equipment as well as enhanced filters with optimal MERV ratings to provide maximum air purification.

Staff Protocols

  • Employees will be required to wear masks at all times. 
  • Employees will be vaccinated or provide a negative COVID-19 test prior to any Broadway Grand Rapids event.
